Activities

This page highlights my campus involvement and leadership activities during my time at Clemson. Many of these experiences reflect my academic, professional and personal interests.

Chinese Language Club

I have been an active member of the Chinese Language Club since arriving at Clemson in August 2022 and served as Treasurer from August 2023 to December 2024. In this role, I managed the club’s finances and budgeting while supporting meetings and events by creating presentations and collaborating with other cultural organizations on campus, including the Asian Student Association and the Japanese Club. During my time in this role, I helped coordinate several events such as the Chopstick Competition, Fall Festival celebration, and Calligraphy Night, which encouraged cultural exchange and engagement with Chinese language and traditions.

Conversation Language Pairs

From January to May 2025, I was involved in the Clemson Conversation Language Pairs, where I was paired with an international student to engage in cultural exchange. My partner was from Taiwan and we would each practice speaking in the other's native language. It was extremely rewarding talking to him about American culture, holidays, and other traditions while learning about his.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity

I joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon South Carolina Nu Chapter during my freshman fall at Clemson University and have remained actively involved in the organization through several leadership roles, including Herald, Social Chair, and serving on the chapter’s Honor Court. From November 2024 to December 2025, I served as Chapter President, where I led a 115-member organization and managed a $250,000 annual budget alongside a nine-member executive board. In this role, I oversaw chapter events, enforced bylaws, coordinated philanthropic initiatives and housing operations, and maintained strong relationships with the Clemson Greek community and the Interfraternity Council. The picture below is from when I oversaw raising $16,405 for charity during our philanthropy week.

Economic Student Advisory Board

Since February 2025, I have served as a selected board member on the Economic Student Advisory Board, where I advise department leadership on curriculum development and initiatives that enhance student engagement. In this role, I collaborate with faculty, alumni, and industry professionals to help coordinate networking events and career-focused programming that strengthen connections between students and potential employers.

Delta Sigma Pi -  Professional Business Fraternity

I have been a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Kappa Tau Chapter at Clemson University since January 2024. Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity dedicated to fostering the study of business and developing future business leaders. Through my involvement, I have experienced meaningful professional and personal growth while engaging with fellow students who share an interest in business, leadership, and career development.
