Internship Experience
The following will detail the internships I have done during college to prepare me to enter my career. You will also find a description of one of my global internships in mandarin, a requirement for Language and International Business majors.
Product Management & Business Development Intern
TD SYNNEX | May - August 2025 | Greenville, SC
From May to August 2025, I completed a ten-week internship with the StratPro Software Team at TD SYNNEX in Greenville, South Carolina. TD SYNNEX is one of the world’s largest IT distribution companies, connecting global technology vendors with thousands of resellers and customers across many regions. During my internship, I supported several software vendors—including Absolute Software, Cato Networks, and AvePoint—by organizing and analyzing sales data, managing communications through a shared team inbox, preparing reports and materials for vendor meetings, and assisting with promotional tracking and business updates. Through these responsibilities, I gained hands-on experience working with real business data and supporting daily operations within a global technology company.
One of the most valuable parts of this internship was learning how technology distribution companies create value by connecting vendors, resellers, and customers through complex global supply chains. I developed a stronger understanding of how data analysis, communication, and cross-department collaboration support strategic decision-making in large organizations. I also completed an independent project creating a weekly vendor business summary report, which required analyzing sales performance and presenting insights to my team. Preparing this report helped me improve my analytical thinking and professional communication skills while contributing directly to the team’s ongoing work.
Overall, my internship at TD SYNNEX was an extremely valuable learning experience. It allowed me to apply concepts from my international business and economics coursework to a real corporate environment while also strengthening my professional skills. The experience helped me better understand the role of global distribution networks in the technology industry and reinforced my interest in pursuing a career that combines international business, technology, and global markets.
Investment Banking Fall Analyst
The Capital Corporation | August - December 2025 | Greenville, SC
From August to December 2025, I interned for The Capital Corporation in Greenville, South Carolina. I had the privilege of observing and contributing to lower middle-market deals within a boutique international M&A network. I assisted in modeling and valuation analyses for M&A transactions, including comps, precedents and discounted cash flows. I helped support the preparation of CIMs, pitch decks and client materials for buy and sell side deals. I conducted industry and market research to support senior bankers in developing strategic recommendations.
During my internship, I was also managing a busy class schedule and collegiate commitments. I effectively completed several strategic and PEG pursuit buyer lists. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Captial Corporation as I was able to interact with international companies and contribute to a fast paced work environment.
